Appropriate Dress
Appropriate dress shall refer to student attire that is modest, neat, free of
vulgarity, and not associated with gang identity. Students are expected to dress
appropriately to help promote a positive learning environment which reflects our
Catholic beliefs and values. Students are to dress in a manner that shows
respect for themselves and others. This includes suitability of clothing for
weather and special occasions. It is suggested that the emotional and physical
maturity of the students be taken into consideration when determining
appropriate dress.

Shirts and tops should be of appropriate length to be able to be
tucked
into pants or a skirt. -
Shorts and skirts should be appropriate length for school.

Suggestive or inappropriate language and symbols are not permitted
on any clothing or personal belongings.

Sunglasses and hats are to be worn outside. They are to be removed
when entering the school building. Girls may choose to wear
bandannas as a hair accessory.

Shoes which mark the floor are not to be worn in the gym.

Tight and/or revealing clothing is not acceptable.

Coloured hair/eyebrows and excessive make-up are permitted only on
designated days such Halloween or Spirit Days.

Wallet chains, excessive “neck chains”, or other accessories that
can be used to inflict bodily harm are unacceptable.

Inappropriate tattoos or body markings are unacceptable.
